The
Challenger Learning Center is 8 miles south of downtown
San Antonio. |
| Take I-37
(TX 281) to the Brooks City-Base/Military Drive Exit (westbound). |
| Follow
Military Drive (westbound) staying in the left through lane
until the 2nd traffic light (immediately after the HEB on
your right). |
| Turn left
at the light onto City-Base Landing Dr. and enter the City-Base
Landing shopping center. |
| Continue
straight ahead until the intersection with a traffic light
(just before Wal*Mart). |
| At this intersection,
take a right onto Sidney Brooks Dr. |
| Follow
this road to the East Gate of Brooks City-Base |
| The
gate personnel will ask for identification if vehicles lack
a military sticker, but those with a valid ID such as a driver's
license will be allowed on to the City-Base. |
| After
entering the base, stay on Sidney Brooks Dr. for about a half
mile until you reach Outer Circle Rd on your left (100 yards
after the intersection by the Base Chapel). |
| Turn
left on to Outer Circle Rd, then immediately turn left again
and then right into the large parking lot in front of the
Challenger Learning Center. |
| Park
anywhere in front of the building. |
| The
Challenger Learning Center is Building #660 and has a large
blue sign in front of the building. It is located next to
the Brooks City-Base Development Agency (BDA) buildings. |
NOTE: We recommend against using internet map services for
driving directions to the Center. They usually give incorrect
directions for the final portion (last 2 miles) of the route.
