'Rendezvous with a Comet' and 'Voyage to Mars'

Utilizing the Center's Space Station simulator, students will conduct activities that include using a microscope, identifying sounds, weighing liquids, and using glove boxes. These activities are designed to use reading, science, and math skills as well as develop teamwork and communications skills. In addition, using the Center's Activity Rooms, students will participate in activities that will include building a "nanosat" [a mini-satellite] and investigating the day and night sky. Other activities include the Eggstronaut Drop, Newton's Third Law (with balloons), building a space station out of household items, Space Jingo, and many more!

Micronauts Camp and Camp Challenger Campers are required to bring a sack lunch and a drink each day. Campers will be required to complete a Permission Form for potential off-site activities and a standard Liability Release for each session.

Payment in full at time of registration is required.
